Established in 2003, the Asia Risk Management Institute (ARiMI) is the leading executive education institute providing risk management professional learning, certifications and be-spoke training in Asia. Their programs were first offered in collaboration with NUS Extension, the continuing education arm of the National University of Singapore. Over the years, ARiMI has trained and qualified professionals, risk consultants, senior management, executives and managers across various industries globally. These industries include finance, healthcare, petrochemical, telecommunications, transport, media, entities of government and statutory boards. Today ARiMI provides a wide range of professional and executive learning solutions designed to develop leaders and managers with the relevant risk management knowledge and skills necessary to promote effective decision-making supported by a sound Risk Management System and a Culture of Risk Ethics and Awareness. In terms of ARiMI’s experience, ARiMI has developed a Learning and Development Framework for the Monetary Authority of Singapore for similar corporate governance initiatives as the Malaysian Securities Commission and Bursa Malaysia, targeting the board committees as well as the directors. ARiMI has also worked with various GLCs, research agencies such as A*STAR as well as other corporate entities throughout Singapore.
